The Starkloff Disability Institute is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, committed to promote the full participation of people with disabilities in American life for the benefit of the general society, as well as for those who have disabilities.

SDI is dedicated to helping 18+ percent of America's people with disabilities participate fully and equally in all aspects of society.

Max and Colleen Starkloff co-founded Paraquad, Inc. one of the first ten federally funded independent living centers in the U.S. After 35 successful years at Paraquad Max and Colleen Starkloff co-founded the Starkloff Disability Institute to take THE NEXT BIG STEP - changing attitudes for a more inclusive society.
